Bucket wheel stacker and reclaimer refers to a high-efficiency loading and unloading machine used for continuous conveying of both stacking and reclaiming materials in large dry bulk storage yards. It is composed of a belt conveyor arm that can be tilted and swung horizontally and its front bucket wheel, frame, and running mechanism. The belt can run in both directions. When reclaiming materials, the bucket wheel reclaims the material and sends it out through the conveying arm, and when stacking, the main conveyor is used. The delivered goods are sent to the yard via the conveying arm.
Introduction

It is a special machine in the bulk material (bulk material) storage yard. It is evolved on the basis of bucket wheel excavators. The storage yard transportation mechanization system is formed, and the production capacity can reach more than 10,000 tons per hour. The operation of the bucket wheel stacker and reclaimer has strong regularity and is easy to realize automation. There are manual, semi-automatic and automatic control modes.
Bucket wheel stacker and reclaimer can be divided into two types: boom type and bridge type. Some equipment has only one function of reclaiming material, which is called bucket wheel reclaimer.
1. Boom type

It has two operation modes of stacking and reclaiming. The bulk material transported by the belt conveyor is unloaded to the belt conveyor on the boom by the tail truck, and is dumped from the front end of the boom to the material yard. Through the operation of the whole machine, the rotation and pitch of the boom can make the material pile form a neat shape of trapezoidal section. Reclaiming is realized continuously through the rotation of the boom and the rotation of the bucket wheel. The material is unloaded to the reverse-running boom belt conveyor through the unloading plate, and then unloaded to the material yard belt conveyor through the hopper below the center of the machine to be transported away. Through the operation of the whole machine, the rotation and pitch of the boom can make the bucket wheel take out the material in the storage pile.

The boom type bucket wheel stacker and reclaimer is composed of a bucket wheel mechanism, a slewing mechanism, a belt conveyor, a tail car, a pitching and running mechanism.
①Bucket wheel mechanism: It is the working mechanism of reclaiming material, including bucket wheel and its driving device. Bucket wheels are divided into three types: unformatted, semi-formatted and formatted (Figure 2). The bucket without format bucket wheel has no bucket bottom. In the non-discharge area, the arc baffle fixed on the boom is used to block the bulk material in the bucket, and the bulk material slides on the arc baffle. There is no arc baffle in the discharge area but a fixed chute. When the bucket rotates with the wheel body to the discharge area, the material in the bucket slides to the belt conveyor through the inclined chute under the action of its own weight. It has a large unloading interval, so the bucket wheel rotates at a higher speed, which can improve the working capacity and can unload sticky materials. The structure of the half-type bucket wheel is similar to that of the non-type bucket wheel, except that the bucket wall is extended to the center of the bucket wheel to increase the distance between the arc baffle and the wheel body, so as to reduce the occurrence of material jamming between the arc baffle and the wheel body. possibility. The bottom of each bucket of the format bucket wheel is a fan-shaped inclined chute, but there is a fixed side baffle in the non-discharge area. When the bucket rotates with the wheel body to a certain height, the bulk material in the bucket begins to slide along the fan-shaped inclined chute toward the center of the bucket wheel. The board slides onto the belt conveyor. The regular bucket wheel discharges slowly, requires a larger diameter of the bucket wheel, but does not cause jamming, and is suitable for hard materials. Among the three bucket wheels, there are many applications in plain format. There are two transmission modes of bucket wheel, mechanical and hydraulic, generally without speed regulation.
② Slewing mechanism: It consists of two parts, a slewing bearing and a driving device, which are used to make the boom slew left and right. In order to ensure that the bucket can be fully filled when the boom is in any position, the rotation speed is required to be automatically and steplessly adjusted within the range of 0.01~0.2 rpm according to a certain rule. Most of them are driven by DC motors or hydraulics.
③Boom belt conveyor: for conveying materials. When stacking and reclaiming materials, the conveyor belt needs to run forward and reverse.
④Tail car: a mechanism that connects the belt conveyor of the material yard with the bucket wheel stacker and reclaimer. The conveyor belt of the material yard belt conveyor bypasses the two rollers on the tail car frame and runs in an S shape, so that the material can be transferred from the material yard belt conveyor to the bucket wheel stacker and reclaimer when stacking.

2. Bridge type
The bridge type bucket wheel stacker and reclaimer is divided into two types: portal type and bridge type according to the bridge type.

Portal bucket wheel stacker and reclaimer: It has a portal-shaped metal frame and a liftable bridge. There is a fixed and a movable stacking belt conveyor on the gantry beam, and there is a tail car running with the gantry on the material yard belt conveyor line on one side of the gantry. The plain bucket wheel is set on a trolley that can run along the lifting bridge through a circular raceway, a supporting wheel and a blocking wheel, and a belt conveyor is installed in the bridge. When stacking materials, the materials are transferred to the stacking belt conveyor through the material yard belt conveyor and tail car, and finally dumped to the material yard. Through the movement of the gantry and the operation of the upper stacking belt conveyor, the materials are formed into a certain shape of the stack. When reclaiming the material, the material is continuously reclaimed by the horizontally running trolley and the bucket wheel rotating on it. The material is unloaded on the bridge belt conveyor in the unloading area, and then transferred to the material yard belt conveyor for transport. Through the lifting and lowering of the bridge and the operation of the gantry, the material can be taken out.

Bridge type bucket wheel reclaimer: The main difference in structure with the portal bucket wheel stacker reclaimer is: it does not have a tall gantry, the bridge frame is fixed and does not lift, and is in a lower position; there is no stacking belt type Conveyor and tail car; There is a rake fixed on the trolley in front of the bucket wheel. When the trolley is running, the rake is driven to move along the end face of the material pile, so that the bulk material above slides down, so that the bucket wheel can take the material. The rake can also mix the materials stacked by the stacker in layers according to different materials when they slide down, so it is often called a bridge-type bucket wheel mixing and reclaiming machine.
